Local running event happening soon

The first major local running event of 2016 is right around the corner.

The Finaghty’s St. Patty’s Day 5K is taking place on March 19 from 7-10:30am on Snoqualmie Ridge. Runners will traverse a course consisting primarily of trails and streets on the Ridge, with the start and finish point being along Center Blvd. SE in front of Finaghty’s Irish Restaurant and Pub, the chief sponsor for this race.

The races consist of a 5k for adults and a 1k for kids. To enter, it will cost $27 for the 5k and the kids’ 1k costs $11 to enter and pre-registered runners will receive a race T-shirt.
