Mount Si grad Bardsley scores game-winning goal, and we have the proof for you……

It was a great homecoming last night for Mount Si High School grad – and current men’s professional soccer player – Gibson Bardsley, and we have the proof for you here this morning.

Bardsley, from Fall City, scored what turned out to be the game-winning goal for his Arizona United SC men’s professional soccer team as they blanked Seattle Sounders 2 FC 2-0 last night in a United Soccer Leagues contest at Starfire Sports Complex in Tukwila. Bardsley, as we mentioned yesterday, has joined the Phoenix-based team after spending the winter playing for a team overseas in Malta.

There is a Youtube video of last night’s contest which we have for you below. Bardsley’s goal comes right after the 27 minute mark in the over two hour video.

We also have a game story for you as well this morning from the contest, with comments from the team’s head coach, Frank Yallop, who is a former Major League Soccer head coach.
