Dover’s grand slam leads Mount Si JV baseball to home win

Forgot to mention Mount Si High School’s JV baseball squad in our baseball roundup this morning, but they played last night as well, and recorded a win over Inglemoor at Mount Si High School.

The Wildcats scored all eight of their runs in the sixth inning, headlined by a grand slam from Dustin Dover, as Mount Si took care of the Vikings 8-3. Will Scott went 2-4 with a run scored to pace the Wildcats, now 5-1 on the season.

Michael Collins earned the win on the mound in relief for Mount Si, allowing two runs – one earned – on two hits in three innings of work, striking out five. Starting pitcher Tank Brewster allowed a run on three hits in four innings, walking two and striking out four.

The Wildcats are at Issaquah tomorrow.
