Athletes of the Week for 4-6

To our AotW’s this week, and we go back to girls for these.

CEDARCREST – Red Wolves girls’ track and field junior Briana Deveraux gets our nod this week on the heels of another win in the 400m at the Don Holder Relays in Yakima back on Saturday. She won the race with a season-best time of 1:01.13, and has won all three 400m girls’ races she has competed in thus far this season, improving her times with each win. Deveraux and her CHS track and field teammates host Cedar Park Christian on Thursday.

MOUNT SI – To tennis, and Hannah Jones gets our nod this week after she led a big win for Mount Si over Tahoma last week with a two-set victory in singles action. Jones is 2-3 on the season, but both of her match wins have come on two-set sweeps. The Wildcats are off this week for spring break.
