Local youth boys’ soccer team offering you a chance to recycle old household items

Another thing of note for you this afternoon about an event tomorrow you may be interested in participating in, especially if you want to help local youth soccer.

The Snoqualmie Valley Youth Soccer Association’s Cascade FC boys ’00 (U-17) soccer squad is holding a fundraiser up on Snoqualmie Ridge to raise money for their upcoming training trip to Europe. They are providing residents an opportunity to recycle their old, used electronic devices and other household items for free. You can bring your old computers, printers, appliances, stereos, VCR’s, bicycles, etc. to this event. It will be from 10am-3pm tomorrow at the Snoqualmie Valley YMCA’s parking lot, located at 35018 Ridge Street on Snoqualmie Ridge. Cash donations are much appreciated, but as noted, there is no fee for recycling your used items. The club has contracted with an organization called 1 Green Planet, who will be handling all of the recycling, providing you an opportunity to dispose of your old items and help protect our environment at the same time.

A full list of all of the items is available by reading the post about this event on Mount Si High School’s boys’ soccer Facebook page, which you can access through Facebook by searching for Mount Si High School Boys Soccer.
