Wildcat boys golf continues to have success

Mount Si High School’s boys’ golf team scored a win against Woodinville yesterday, 186-205 (lower score wins) at Mount Si Golf Course in Snoqualmie. Drew Warford fired a two-under par 34 to take medalist honors for the fifth straight match, and Cooper Neil fired a 36 pacing the victors.

On Wednesday, the Wildcats bested Liberty also at MSGC, 185-202. Warford fired a 35 to take medalist honors in this contest as well, with Mike Olson carding a 36 to pace the Mount Si efforts.

Mount Si’s JV played a three-team match yesterday against Newport and Skyline at the Golf Club at Newcastle in Bellevue. The Wildcats finished second, scoring 227. The Knights beat Mount Si by one shot to take the team title. Trevor Groshell carded a 41 to lead the Wildcats in the competition.

Regular season play for both teams wraps up next week.
