Mount Si girls third at Surf N’Slam after finishing tourney on strong note

The above tweet from the Surf N’Slam tournament says it all. Mount Si High School’s girls took third this afternoon after blasting Watsonville, CA, 48-15, in the third-place game at the event in San Diego. Stats are not available. Mount Si returns home at 4-4 on the season and will host Skyline this coming Wednesday. In the meantime, the Wildcats will return to their hotel rooms and have to hit their beds early as it will be an early wakeup call, and we mean early, so they can catch their flight back to Seattle tomorrow morning. The flight leaves San Diego before sunrise and will be back in Seattle around 9:30 am.

A congrats to Mount Si on their successful trip to southern California. The Wildcat boys are underway right now in their tournament finale down in Rancho Mirage and we’ll advise on that final when we get word.
