Valley college hoopster earns postseason conference nod

Good Friday morning. Very light Friday for you.

Our one item is from basketball, and a Valley collegian has earned recognition from her college conference for her success on the floor this season.

The NCAA Division III Northwest Conference this week named Snoqualmie’s Elizabeth Prewitt, a junior at the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, to their 2018 All-NWC women’s basketball second team. Prewitt, a wing, was also a second-team recipient last season, and this year earned her nod after averaging 13 points a contest – second-best on the Loggers – for Puget Sound, who finished 12-13 overall and 7-9 in conference play, missing the league playoffs by two games finishing fifth overall.

A congrats to Prewitt on this tremendous recognition. She, by the way, is a 2015 Mount Si HS grad.
