CHS senior athletes nominated for major award

Two Cedarcrest High School senior athletes are competing for another prestigious honor.

Softball and basketball player Elaine Townley (girls) and distance track athlete Grant Van Valkenburg (boys) have been nominated for the Everett Herald’s high school Athlete of the Year. The two are competing against athletes from all of the high schools within the Herald’s coverage area of north King and south Snohomish Counties. Fans have a chance to vote for these awards, and we have links for you here (boys) and here (girls).

We wish the two Red Wolve seniors good luck as they look to be selected.
