River Park Eagles 5, ExploSwing Northwest 16U 0: Bellevue-based XSN was limited to three hits in the shutout loss to the Sacramento team down at Oregon State University earlier today. Mount Si High School’s Turner McCutchan went 0-1 with a walk for XSN.

Arizona A’s Founders Club 12, Northwest Naturals 14U 9: The Arizona team outslugged Sammamish-based NWN in a game this morning down in Phoenix at the Prospect Wire tournament. Mount Si’s Josh Freudenberg went 1-2 with a walk and RBI for the Nats in this one.

Seattle Sundodgers 5, KB Fastpitch 16U 4: Instead of traveling to Colorado this past week like so many other teams did, KB sat out the big tournaments down there and instead are in a tournament this week up in Canada. Their opener this morning saw them fall to the Seattle rivals despite a 1-3 effort from Mount Si’s Vera Harrison. She also drove in a run for the Kenmore-based squad.
