Mount Si High School principal Belcher with message for students, community

We also have this for you from Mount Si High School. Those of you who follow our Twitter feed know that we have been paying some attention as of late to the situation around King County with respect to the deaths of area high school students, including two at Skyline High School, after the teens took pills laced with a substance known as fentanyl, which in even very small doses results in death.

Today, as part of the school’s Homecoming assembly, school principal John Belcher shared a video message with students, a message that the school has sent out on its email list to families, which we have obtained this way, so that parents can also watch the message. While the message is aimed at the students, Belcher in the message has announced several steps the school is taking to address not only this situation, but overall student health and safety.

If you are a parent of a Mount Si High School student, the school is encouraging you to watch this, and we are making it easy for you to do so. They posted it to YouTube and we have it for you below.
