Mount Si tennis plays tough against Bellevue
The Wildcat girls’ tennis team gave an always good Wolverines squad all they could handle in a 4-3 loss. Here’s the scores as provided to the SVSJ from Mount Si coach Jane Job.

In singles action, Sabrina Tu (BEL) beat Trina Eck (MS) 6-0, 6-0; Karen Park (BEL) beat Sierra Morin (MS) 6-2, 6-2; Kelcey Sharp(MS) beat Cory Chang (BEL) 3-6, 6-2, 6-4, and Samantha Lindmeier (MS) beat Anna Floyd (BEL) 6-6(0-7), 6-1, 7-5. Both Sharp and Lindmeier had to work hard for their victories; Job told the SVSJ in an email that those matches took three hours apiece.

On the doubles side, Jessica Graves/Cheyenne Dixon (MS) beat Gracie Odegard/Danielle Bear (BEL) 6-1, 6-0; Crystal Chow/Tracy Monk (BEL) beat Megan McCulley/Kenzie Parker(MS) 6-6(7-2), 4-6, 7-5, and Meagan Moraine/Laine Goudy (BEL) beat Peyton McCulley/Chelsea Henak (MS) 7-5, 6-4. Rounding things out, Annie McCall/Kayla Schumacher(MS) beat Meagan Moraine/Laine Goudy (BEL ) 9-7 in an exhibition doubles match which did not count for the team score.

Cedarcrest diamond stars sweep Turks
