Hawaii-Hilo men’s soccer scores win
UHH’s men’s soccer team delivered a 3-2 victory over Holy Names University yesterday in a home league contest. Sophomore Morgan Popp, from Ames Lake and a MSHS grad, started and played all 90 minutes for UHH, with no stats of note recorded.
Harrelson finishes in top-20 at tournament
Montana State-Billings men’s golfer Brad Harrelson, a sophomore from Snoqualmie who, along with Popp, graduated from Mount Si in 2011, fired a final-round 78 to finish at +13 over 229 for three rounds of the Dennis Rose tournament hosted by UHH at the par-72 Waikoloa Kings golf course near Hilo. The score was second best among all MSUB golfers, and earned Harrelson a 19th place finish in the field. UHH won the team title and their top player, Corey Kozuma, won the individual title. MSUB finished sixth in the team standings.
