Proudfoot, Texas Tech baseball fall to Florida International

We have one piece of news for you this morning, and that is from college baseball, where North Bend’s Tim Proudfoot and his Texas Tech team opened a series at Florida International down in Miami yesterday. It did not go well for the Red Raiders, who fell 9-7. Proudfoot, a sophomore shortstop who is a 2011 Mount Si HS grad, went 1-5 with two strikeouts, but had one putout and assisted on two others defensively.

Tech wraps their series up today. Today will be busy by the way with at least four college baseball and softball games today featuring Mount Si grads, so we will keep you apprised of the news.
