Baseball news on this Friday

Several Mount Si High School baseball players are competing this weekend with their select baseball teams up in Mount Vernon in a tournament at Skagit Valley College. The event started last night.

In one game last night, Chaffey U18s fell 4-3 to FCA. Wildcat senior-to-be Carson Breshears doubled and scored a run to aid the Bellevue-based Chaffey team. Breshears has had a good season, hitting .352 for Chaffey with seven doubles, a triple and 16 runs batted in.

Michael’s Toyota U18s are also playing this weekend, and they fell in their opener last night 10-0. Several players from MSHS are on Michael’s, including senior-to-be Evan Johnson.
