Time now to take a look at the rest of the college action, both from Friday and from yesterday.

Alaska-Anchorage def. Central Washington 25-16, 19-25, 25-21, 22-25, 15-7: The Seawolves rolled into Ellensburg last night and left with the thrilling road win over the Wildcats. Junior Catie Fry led the way for Central; the 2011 Mount Si HS grad from North Bend had 42 assists, 13 digs, five kills and a block to pace the Wildcats.

Carroll-MT def. Lewis-Clark State 25-16, 25-22, 23-25, 15-25, 15-5: Carroll, from Helena, MT, rolled into Lewiston last night and left with a five-set win; junior Robyn Schirmer aided LCSC with 21 assists, a kill and four digs. She is from North Bend and a 2010 Mount Si HS grad.

Montana def. Montana State 16-25, 21-25, 25-18, 25-22, 15-12: The first round of the Montana state rivalry series this fall went to the Grizzlies in dramatic fashion, as they rallied from an 0-2 hole to win in five over the Bobcats on MSU’s home floor in Bozeman, MT. Senior Zoe Gogan, from Fall City and a 2011 Mount Si HS alum, had three kills, a block and a dig to pace Montana State.

Hamline def. St. Olaf 25-22, 25-12, 25-23: Hamline scored the road sweep over St. O in Northfield, MN; sophomore Lexie Read, from Snoqualmie and a 2013 MSHS grad, had no stats of note in limited action for St. O.

Men’s Soccer
Seattle Pacific 5, South Dakota Mines 0: The Falcons rolled to the road shutout over the South Dakota school, with sophomore defender Davis Karaica, from Snoqualmie and a 2012 MSHS alum, playing 42 minutes for the Falcons in the contest, which he also started. Karaica had no stats of note.

Academy of Art 3, Hawaii-Hilo 0: In San Francisco, the visiting Vulcans were blanked by host AoA; senior defender Morgan Popp, from Ames Lake and a 2011 Mount Si HS grad, started and played the full 90 minutes of the contest with no stats of note to report.

Claremont-Mudd-Scripps 4, Whittier 0: In Whittier, CA, last night, the Stags rolled to the road win; sophomore Alex Censullo, from North Bend and a 2013 Mount Si HS alum, played 32 minutes off the bench with no stats to report for CMS.

Women’s Soccer
Southern Utah 2, Sacramento State 1 (Fri.): SUU held off the visiting Hornets in the game this past Friday in Cedar City, UT. Sophomore Maggie Pleis, from Carnation and a 2012 Cedarcrest HS grad, started and played the full 90 minutes up front for Sacto, with three shots, two on goal, but no goals of note.

Linfield 1, Whitworth 0: Linfield yesterday took care of business, blanking the visiting Pirates from Spokane in an NWC contest in McMinnville, OR. Freshman Leah Corra, from Snoqualmie and a 2014 Mount Si HS grad, played 23 minutes off the bench for Whitworth, recording one shot, which did not reach goal; she did not score any goals in the contest.

Washington State 1, Oregon State 0 (Fri.): Junior defender Gwen Bieck, from Duvall and a 2012 CHS alum, started for the Beavers and played all 90 minutes of this Pac-12 contest in Corvallis, OR, this past Friday, won by the visiting Cougs. Bieck recorded no stats of note.

Puget Sound 3, George Fox 0: The Loggers made quick work of the visitors from Oregon in the NWC affair in Tacoma; Spokane senior Lauren Hamilton, who has family in the Valley, came off the bench for UPS and worked 31 minutes of the contest with no stats of note.
