Good morning. Big night on tap as both Mount Si and Cedarcrest High Schools’ boys’ basketball teams open their seasons against one another in a Valley Cup clash. Preview and pick soon, but first, we have this from last night on the college hardwood.

Seattle University rolls to win in Kent
Seattle University’s men’s basketball team took care of Pacific Lutheran University’s team 72-33 last night in a neutral-site contest at Kent’s Showare Center. Cedarcrest HS alum Andrew Alness saw action for PLU in the contest; he played limited minutes, and was 0-3 from the floor. Alness is a senior, from Duvall.
