College baseball news

On the college baseball diamond last night, Kansas State was shut out on the road at Minnesota 3-0 in the Twin Cities. North Bend’s Max Brown was 0-3 as the senior center fielder and his Wildcat teammates were held to just one hit in the contest. Brown, a 2011 Mount Si High School grad, according to the school saw a 16-game streak of reaching base at least once in each contest come to an end with his 0-3 effort.

K-State is at Minnesota today and returns home Friday to Manhattan, KS, for a weekend set with non-conference foe Arkansas State.
