Cedarcrest alum Cole makes immediate impact on pitch for his new college soccer team…..

One other quick note from the colleges today and that is from the NWAACC, the league featuring local community colleges.

Bellevue College’s men’s soccer team opened their season strong yesterday, with the help of one of three Valleyites on this year’s team. Cedarcrest High School grad Chris Cole scored the game’s lone goal for the Bulldogs, as they held off Southwestern Oregon 1-0 in a season-opening tournament down in Eugene, OR.

Cole is a sophomore this fall, and new to the Bellevue roster; he played last fall as a freshman for Lenoir-Rhyne University in North Carolina. Cole joins Mount Si High School grad Alex Dolewski, from North Bend and a sophomore, and Cedarcrest HS alum Darian Pendergraft, from Duvall and a freshman, as the Valley reps on this year’s Bulldog men’s squad.

We wish Bellevue good luck this fall. They’ll wrap up their tournament today, then play again this coming Saturday, September 5, at Shoreline CC in Shoreline.
