The Riverview School District has announced their webstreaming arrangements for Cedarcrest High School home sports events, as the district and Wesco Conference are not currently allowing fans to attend Red Wolve home games due to continued restrictions resulting from the current COVID-19 pandemic.
Streaming will be provided through the school district’s Engaged website, a link to which you can find in our news links at right. On that webpage, the streams will be available through a link at top right named “2021 Red Wolves Sports Streams.” All home athletic events are expected to be streamed in this fashion for the remainder of this school year. Streams are free to view and begin with tonight’s scheduled varsity and junior varsity home girls’ soccer contests against Mountlake Terrace. The stream will start 15 minutes prior to each game’s kickoff (5:00 p.m. for JV and 7:00 for varsity).
As for Red Wolve road contests, each school in the league is setting up their own individual streaming broadcast, and since those broadcasts will not be announced likely until the day of the scheduled contest, fans are encouraged to visit the CHS team Facebook pages for more information on those contests.
With regards to Mount Si High School, the Kingco Conference is expected to have a similar streaming setup for Wildcat athletic contests with similar rules expected regarding access to games for fans. Those plans have not been announced outside of the Wildcat football program already having announced that all of their games will be streamed in some fashion this spring. We will continue to advise you if we have any news on this front for you.
Red Wolve football fans opportunity to support team: Cedarcrest High School’s football program has announced an opportunity for the community to come out and support the Red Wolves in advance of their spring season opener on Saturday.
The team has invited fans to line NE 150th St. in front of the Cedarcrest campus in Duvall to cheer the team on as they depart the school in advance of their game Saturday afternoon with Cascade of Everett at Everett Memorial Stadium. The team busses are expected to depart Cedarcrest at 1:45 p.m. so fans are encouraged to go early. Masks and social distancing are strongly recommended and fans are also being asked to not go onto the CHS campus.
